Cookie Policy & Preferences

Sovetta Technologies LLC Version 1.1 — Effective July 3, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies the Sovetta websites and Platform use, why, and the choices you have. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. Our Approach: Essential Only

We keep it simple. The Platform sets only strictly-necessary, first-party cookies — the minimum required to sign you in securely and protect your session. We do not use:

Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, no "cookie consent" is required for our essential cookies under U.S. law — but we tell you exactly what they are anyway.

2. The Cookies We Set

CookieTypePurposeDuration
sessionStrictly necessary (first-party)Signed session that keeps you logged in, protects against cross-site request forgery, and enforces seat-based access controls. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax.Up to 12 hours, or until you sign out

Our infrastructure providers (for example, our content-delivery and tunneling provider) may set their own strictly-necessary cookies (such as bot-protection or load-balancing cookies) when they serve our pages. These are used solely to deliver and protect the service.

3. Your Preferences

Cookie preference controls: because every cookie we set is strictly necessary for the Platform to function securely, there is no optional category to toggle — there is nothing to opt out of. If we ever introduce an optional category (for example, first-party analytics), we will update this Policy, present a preferences control before those cookies are set, and honor your choice.

Browser controls: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the strictly-necessary session cookie will prevent signing in to the Platform.

Global Privacy Control: our sites honor GPC signals where applicable. Since we do not sell or share personal information, a GPC signal does not change how the Platform treats you — there is no sale or sharing to opt out of.

Do Not Track: there is no common industry standard for DNT; we treat DNT signals the same way as GPC.

4. Changes

If our cookie usage changes — including any new category of cookie — we will update this Policy, bump its version and effective date, and, where the change is material, provide notice before it takes effect.

5. Contact

Questions about this Policy: [email protected] (subject: "Cookies").
